Famous for its wide variety of signature ButterBurgers, Culver’s has launched the Ultimate ButterBurger Build-Off Contest. Culver’s is challenging its fans and guests to create a new burger masterpiece for a chance to win the Ultimate Culver’s experience.
Although the actual ButterBurger will never change, the toppings and creativity are all up for grabs. People can enter to win by submitting their favorite and unique recipe to complement the legendary ButterBurger, which starts with a Culver’s-style 100 percent fresh, never-frozen burger patty that has been grilled to perfection and served on a toasted, lightly buttered bun that gives the ButterBurger its unique name.
“Our guests always have a big say in what’s on the menu—but this really is a whole new level,” says Craig Culver, co-founder and CEO of Culver’s. “Never before has a guest been able to help shape our ButterBurger menu quite like this.”
The contest runs May 31 to June 30. The website not only collects guests’ ButterBurger creations but also opens the decision up to a public vote to help determine the finalists. Culver’s ButterBurger experts Craig and executive chef Jim Doak will select the winner from the top 50 vote-getters.
The winner will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime Culver’s experience. After flying in on a private jet, the winner will team up with Craig and Jim in the Culver’s test kitchen to experiment, refine and then bring the winning masterpiece to life.
The prize also includes a visit to the birthplace of the ButterBurger, the first Culver’s restaurant in Sauk City, Wisconsin, where the award-winning ButterBurger creation will be served to restaurant guests. The new burger may also live on as a featured item on the Culver’s specials menu.
While in Wisconsin, the winner and three guests will stay at a world-class Kalahari Resort in the famous Wisconsin Dells. They’ll experience the presidential suite at the authentically African-themed Kalahari. They’ll also enjoy free passes to Wisconsin’s largest indoor and outdoor waterparks as well as a credit for the Kalahari’s luxury spa.
“This June really is going to be the battle of the ButterBurgers,” Culver says. “Entrants can rally their friends to vote for them by sharing their ButterBurger creations on Facebook and Twitter. May the best burger win.”
