Juice It Up!, one of the nation’s leading handcrafted smoothie, açaí bowl and raw juice chains, is in the on-deck circle and ready to step up to the plate for a second time as a Proud Partner of Angels Baseball. The multiyear partnership between the two Orange County-based heavy hitters began last year and returns for another season with the celebrated baseball club’s 2024 Home Opener on April 5. Juice It Up!’s popular in-stadium concession stand will once again deliver crave-worthy superfruit bowls to Angels fans, while an array of season-long app-exclusive promotions and several community events will round out the lineup of partnership activations.
“In our rookie season last year, our Angels Baseball partnership was a home run, providing Juice It Up! with an effective platform to reinforce our commitment to our home crowd – the SoCal community – with new and unique opportunities to engage with two popular Southern California institutions,” says Susan Taylor, President and CEO of Juice It Up!. “Whether visiting the stadium, watching on television or listening to Angels games on the radio, few things go better with baseball than smoothies and açaí bowls, especially as the season – and the weather – heat up, and we’re proud to once again play ball with the Angels this year.”
For 2024, Juice It Up!’s in-stadium concession stand will again serve the brand’s signature Açaí Berry Bowl and Dragon Fruit Bowl – as well as a 50/50 Bowl combining both bases – topped with granola, strawberries and blueberries. Fans can enjoy the flavorful and functional treats conventionally in a bowl or in a souvenir team helmet to commemorate their time at the ballpark.
Juice It Up! will also reactivate its successful in-game ‘Save’ promotion – guaranteed to keep fans watching the Angels bullpen and the team’s win column. When an Angels pitcher records an official save at the Big A, Juice It Up! will once again offer guests a free small Classic Smoothie with a purchase. To redeem, fans must be a Juice It Up! Rewards member and visit one of the brand’s 80+ participating locations in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside or San Bernardino Counties the day after the save. Last season, Juice It Up! gave away nearly 20,000 free Classic Smoothies and saw close to 35,000 fans claim the offer – triggered by 20 saves at home from the Angels bullpen.
“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with the Angels, including the many guest-friendly activations that help us deliver our brand’s signature smoothies and bowls to a loyal and passionate Southern California fan base,” says Chris Britt and Ed St. Geme, Principal Owners of Juice It Up! “Although Juice It Up! has been growing throughout the West for nearly 30 years, our partnership with the Angels is a natural extension of the brand’s Southern California origin story as well as our deep commitment to the region.”
Complementing its “Record a Save, Win a Free Smoothie” activation and in-stadium açaí bowl availability, Juice It Up!’s multifaceted agreement with the Angels will once again include a variety of highly visible in-stadium signage and sponsorships of community events this season, including the annual Angels 5K Run. In 2023, the brand provided samples of its superfruit bowls to more than 4,000 racers participating in the event, and a Juice It Up! corporate team ran in the event.
Since 1995, Juice It Up! has delivered products that help support guests in their wellness journeys with menu choices that are quick, convenient and the perfect balance of flavor and function. Following a strong 2023, the brand has once again reinforced its status as a leading franchise chain in the smoothie and juice sector. Juice It Up! continues to strengthen its widespread reputation for menu and product innovation, including offering a wealth of options ranging from its popular classic smoothies, açaí and superfruit bowls to functional raw juices and fiber-rich plant-based smoothies. Robust sales, AUV growth, experienced leadership and world-class franchise support have become Juice It Up! hallmarks, complementing the brand’s reputation as an innovator of both popular and lesser-known superfruits and functional food science.
