To celebrate the fresh, lighter tastes of summer, Pei Wei Asian Diner is introducing two new lettuce wraps: Thai Chicken and Korean Steak. These limited-time offerings will be available from June 3 until the end of August, providing a great summertime complement to the Traditional Chicken Lettuce Wraps, an all-time favorite on the Pei Wei menu.
The Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps provide a Thai-inspired twist on Pei Wei’s traditional lettuce wraps, with all-natural wok-seared chicken and a combination of hand-chopped vegetables including red onions, red bell peppers, scallions, along with cilantro and mint, all tossed in a tangy citrus soy sauce. The Korean Steak Lettuce Wraps feature wok-seared marinated steak tossed with fresh carrots, bean sprouts, red onions, scallions, cucumbers, and toasted sesame seeds, drizzled with a Korean red chile sauce.
Starting at just $6.99, the new lettuce wraps are a perfect everyday option for a fresh and light, yet satisfying lunch, especially when paired with Pei Wei add-ons like Thai Wonton soup, a Vegetable Spring Roll or edamame. At dinner, lettuce wraps are a tasty and shareable starter to enjoy with friends or family before an entrée such as a signature dish or noodle bowl wok’d fresh to order.
“Summer is a great time to enjoy meals full of bright flavors,” says Phil Butler, creative culinary chef for Pei Wei. “Our culinary team is passionate about summer’s cool, crisp fare, and we’re glad to offer two new ways to satisfy our guests’ summer cravings.”
The new lettuce wraps are crafted with the same high quality and attention to detail as all Pei Wei dishes, using only the best ingredients—including hand-cut vegetables and scratch-made sauces. This quality also comes at an affordable price, with the seasonal lettuce wraps starting at $6.99.
