Pizza Factory announced that local entrepreneur and experienced restaurant operator is taking over ownership at the Reno Red Rock location, following the success of the previous owner’s long-standing commitment to the brand. Multi-brand franchisee Ron Chadwick will now handle daily operations at the restaurant alongside his nephew Kyle Hess, who will be the pizzeria’s general manager.

“As I began searching for my next business venture in the restaurant space, I came across Pizza Factory and was imminently drawn to its strong relationships with its customers and brand values,” says Chadwick, who owns five L&L Hawaiian Barbecue restaurants throughout Reno and Houston. “I truly have a passion for restaurant operations and I am extremely excited to start my ownership journey with Pizza Factory, especially with its history of success in Reno alone. I see a thrilling future with Pizza Factory and am eager to continue expanding with the brand.”

Coming from 10+ years of experience in the restaurant space, local business ownership as well as the education field, Chadwick understands what it takes to run a successful operation while putting the needs of the community at the forefront. At his L&L restaurants, Chadwick has provided over 200 free meals to guests through various giveaways. Additionally, he has notably sent two students and a local teacher to Hawaii after being devasted from hurricane Harvey. Chadwick hopes to implement similar initiatives at his Pizza Factory location in Reno, which could include a potential sweepstakes for teachers.

“With business experience and a dedication to giving back like Ron’s, it is clear he upholds all of the qualities that make a great Pizza Factory owner,” says Pizza Factory CEO Mary Jane Riva. “His understanding of operations, community involvement and passion for the restaurant industry makes him the perfect fit to lead our Reno Red Rock location. I have no doubt he will continue to make the restaurant not only a success but a community staple and I am looking forward to seeing him grow with our brand.”

Unlike other quick-service pizzerias, everything on Pizza Factory’s menu is prepared fresh with ingredients, such as hand-grated 100 percent mozzarella cheese, slow-cooked meat sauce and meatballs that are hand rolled in-house. As a differentiator, the concept also offers a wider menu variety than most with hot and cold sandwiches, pastas, chicken wings, beer, wine and more.

The ever evolving go-to neighborhood spot to experience family-friendly dining, Pizza Factory is guaranteed to have high-quality meals and a hardworking staff that’s passionate about service. Known for its close-ties to each community that its restaurants serve, Pizza Factory continues to break waves in the industry and skyrocket as a leader in the pizza space. The brand provides numerous opportunities for operators to develop the traditional dine-in fast casual concept or the Express takeout and delivery quick-service format.
