Potbelly Sandwich Shop announced that its fourth St. Louis-area location is officially open. The shop is located at Lindenwood University’s University Commons, 1950 First Capitol Drive in St. Charles. The neighborhood hangout features toasty warm sandwiches, hand-dipped milkshakes and live, local music.

Potbelly has earned a reputation in communities across the U.S. for having delicious food, fun décor, and fresh tunes. Entrepreneurs Todd and Angie Stimson opened this location and all other Potbelly shops in the St. Louis-area with partners Lawrence and Monica Boveri.

“We’ve been in love with Potbelly ever since we first visited in Chicago,” says Todd Stimson. “It’s the perfect neighborhood and campus spot to sit down and relax or take your meal to go. We’re ecstatic to be moving ahead full-steam with our fourth location in the St. Louis-area, especially in time for Lindenwood University’s school year to begin.”

Todd and Angie dreamed of owning their own business and were thrilled when Potbelly first began franchising. The Stimsons and the Boveris opened their first shop in 2012 and have continued to expand, now opening the fourth location in St. Charles. Their other locations are in Clayton at 12 S Bemiston, Creve Coeur at 11615 Olive Blvd., and O’Fallon at 2025 Highway K.

“We couldn’t be happier that Todd, Angie, Lawrence and Monica have opened their fourth location in the St. Louis-area,” adds Rick Fossali, senior director of domestic franchising for Potbelly Sandwich Shop. “We’re excited to share our good vibes and delicious sandwiches with the Lindenwood students, faculty and staff as well as the St. Charles community.”

Potbelly Sandwich Shop first opened in Chicago in 1977, and now includes more than 350 shops across the U.S. There are also 30-plus franchise shops in the United States and abroad.
