McDonald’s USA recently awarded Ralcorp Frozen Bakery Products, a supplier for many of McDonald’s breakfast offerings as well as sweet goods, as the 2008 Supplier of the Year.

For more than 25 years, Ralcorp has been providing quality bakery products for McDonald’s core breakfast offerings such as griddle cakes for the McGriddles sandwich, Hotcakes and Biscuits, as well as Cinnamon Melts.

The McDonald’s U.S. Supplier of the Year Award is presented annually to the food, paper or product supplier that makes the most significant impact on, and contribution to, McDonald’s U.S. business results from the previous year. The award recognizes criteria including commitment to quality and food safety, product, equipment and process innovation, exemplary customer service and value.
