Romeo's Pizza, in Northeast Ohio, will once again be teaming up with St. Jude Children's Hospital this holiday season for their biggest charitable effort of the year. Ryan Rose, CEO of Romeo's Pizza, is excited that the Romeo's Pizza staff and all of it's customers will have the opportunity to join together in raising funds for the very courageous kids of St. Jude Children's Hospital. Each Romeo's Pizza purchased through December 31 will have partial proceeds donated directly to St. Jude Children's Hospital. "It's simple," Ryan says, "All you have to do to help is order a pizza! Each one sold between now and the end of the year increases our donation to St. Jude."
Rose also noted that the staff at individual locations and all Romeo's Pizza franchisees make an extra effort to spread the word through local advertising and "word of mouth.”
"We made a substantial donation last year," he added, "Our goal is to expand greatly on that amount to aid St. Jude even more. We love to present that big check at the end of the year."
This is one part of an expanding effort Rose is spearheading to make Romeo's Pizza extremely active in the fabric of the community through charity and caring. Even a new slogan—"Pizza Crafted With A Purpose"—was developed with this new corporate directive in mind.
Romeo's Pizza is an Ohio based company composed of franchised and corporately owned locations in Northeast Ohio and Columbus. Some of Romeo's Pizza's accolades include winning the Best Pizza in the Midwest twice, the Best Gourmet Pizza in America, the Best Pizza in Cleveland and Columbus, and being featured on the Food Network $10,000 Pizza Challenge. "It's exciting to team up with St. Jude Children's Hospital," says Rose. "For all our success, we feel that the most important accomplishment we can look back on every year is the amount we will have given back."
Romeo's Pizza is also a major supporter of MDA and Race For The Cure, which are their next major fundraising campaigns in the front half of 2017.
