Salata, a leading built-to-order salad kitchen, will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location in Charlotte’s Lower South End (LoSo) on Thursday, January 18th, at 11:00 a.m. The new 2,600-square-foot location will be located at 3700 South Blvd Ste 175, Charlotte NC 28217 (across from the Scaleybark Light rail station) and will be the third Salata open in Charlotte.
The LoSo Salata will offer guests fully customizable, built-to-order salads, wraps, soups, organic teas and lemonades. Fresh fruit, vegetables and lean proteins will be prepared and chopped daily in-house. With five salad bases, over 50 toppings and 11 house-made, gluten-free dressings, guests can create meals tailored to their lifestyle.
The new Salata will offer online ordering with pick-up and delivery available for customers on the go, as well as dine-in and catering. Guests can earn points toward rewards with every purchase by signing up for Salata’s Tastemaker Rewards program.
To celebrate the restaurant’s Grand Opening on Thursday, January 18th, guests are invited to enjoy a build-your-own succulent bar while supplies last. Additionally, guests can enjoy a Flights and Bites station featuring complimentary salad samples and a variety of organic teas and lemonades, allowing guests to experience some of the extensive offerings available at the salad kitchen.
Additionally, LoSo guests who download the Salata’s Tastemaker app will receive a free small veggie salad all day long on Thursday, January 18th. Guests must download the Salata app and sign up for the Tastemaker Rewards program to redeem the free meal.
Be sure to arrive early, as the first guest in line will receive a Salata swag kit featuring a custom Salata backpack, lunch bento box, reusable straw keychain, water bottle and $25 Salata gift card. Additionally, the first 200 guests will receive a free LoSo Salata-branded t-shirt.
Guests will dine for a cause on grand opening day as a 10% of all sales on January 18th will go towards benefitting the Keith Family YMCA. Since 1996, the Keith Family YMCA has served individuals and families who live, work and play in Charlotte’s vibrant and growing University City community. Formerly called the University City YMCA, the branch was renamed in 2017 to honor the Keith family, whose multi-generational support across the YMCA of Greater Charlotte made this branch possible. The Keith Family YMCA serves nearly 15,000 people each year with diverse and enriching programs and services for all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
The LoSo Salata is the 97th location open nationwide. The location will be operated by Free Fenix, LLC, and is the third Salata location for the restaurant group, with locations in Charlotte’s Uptown and Rea Farms neighborhoods.
