Sam’s Club is partnering with independent caterers to help grow their businesses during one of their busiest times of the year. Its spring catering program aligns caterers with relevant services, ideas, and products, both in-club and within the marketplace. Sam’s Club provides a steady stream of marketing and promotion ideas, all in sync with key catering seasons.

“We’re thrilled to launch this initiative to support our business members involved in catering,” says Catherine Corley, Sam’s Club vice president of marketing and insights. “Our goal is to lower members’ cost of doing business and save money for them every time they shop at Sam’s Club. This is one more way we’re able to achieve that goal by offering the products, services, and ideas members need to maximize success.”

In a recent survey of 2,500 Sam’s Club Business Members, 37 percent estimated they save more than $1,000 per year shopping at Sam’s Club. More than 70 percent estimate they make up their annual membership fees on their purchases every month at Sam’s Club.

A key component of the Sam’s Club catering program is an occasion-based spring catering brochure featuring solutions for successful menu planning and event execution through the busy spring catering season. Focusing on Cinco de Mayo, spring brunch, and wedding receptions, the brochure features tips covering a range of topics such as tabletop and décor, keeping costs down, attracting return clients, and more.

Sam’s Club not only provides ideas for having a successful spring catering season, but also provides the means with which to do it. This includes all the food, tools, and supplies caterers need at everyday low prices with no purchase minimums or requirements. And since Sam’s Club is open seven days a week, it’s there for any opportunities or emergencies a caterer might encounter.

Business members also benefit from exclusive extended Gold Key Hours, Click‘n’Pull, and Fax‘n’PullSM convenient ordering services, credit-card processing, and savings on printing services with FedEx® and FedEx Kinko’s.
