FOCUS Brands’ Schlotzsky’s named Beto Guajardo its next president, replacing Kelly Roddy, who took the chief executive role at fast casual Saladworks.

Guajardo arrives from Starbucks, where he held the title of senior vice president of global strategy. He focused on technology, personalization, and delivery initiatives during his five and half years with the java giant. Before Starbucks, Guajardo served in leadership roles at Levi’s Strauss & Co and Avon Cosmetics.

FOCUS Brand’s 370-unit chain is in the process of rebranding itself Schlotzky’s Austin Eatery.
