Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs announced the opening of its third Greater Phoenix–area location opening this year, scheduled for Thursday, November 1.
In honor of Cousins Subs’ 40 years in business, the first 40 store guests who purchase 7.5-inch sub combo will receive free Cousins Subs for an entire year.
The store will open at 10 a.m. on November 1.
Bert Greer, who signed a franchise agreement under local Cousins Subs franchise developer, Cliff Jones, will open his first Cousins Subs franchise location in Mesa.
The store will be the third to open under Jones, who has committed to open 10 Cousins Subs stores in the Greater Phoenix area within three years. Another store is scheduled to open in mid-December.
“After exploring several investment opportunities, I decided that a Cousins Subs franchise was the best concept for the market,” Greer says. “Cousins Subs offers a high-quality product in addition to strong marketing and business support.”
Each Cousins Subs sandwich is made to order using fresh ingredients, including fresh-baked bread made in stores each day. “That’s our point of difference,” Jones says.
A number of other special activities are planned for the new Cousins Subs store, including a carnival at Mesa Community College and a VIP reception.
“The team is looking forward to serving sandwiches made with freshly sliced meats and vegetables, in addition to fries and grilled sandwiches to the community,” Greer says. “We are very excited to give away subs for a year to our first 40 guests!”
Justin McCoy, vice president of Cousins Subs, says, “We are honored to continue expansion in the Phoenix market by welcoming Bert to our team. We know this is a special place, and we hope to continue to contribute to that feeling.”
