Wingstop reached another milestone with the opening of its 600th location in Sterling, Virginia.
“As we wrap-up our 10th consecutive year of same-store sales growth, the 600th store milestone is a testament to the strength of the Wingstop business model,” says Wingstop CEO Charlie Morrison. “The D.C. metro area is a key growth market for Wingstop as we continue to expand our system to more than 1,000 restaurants worldwide.”
Franchise owner Neil Frank, Wingstop CEO Charlie Morrison, and members of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will join other business and civic leaders for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, November 20, at the 21430 Cedar Drive location from 10 to 11 a.m.
As part of the celebration, Wingstop will offer guests 5 free classic or boneless wings sauced, tossed, and made to order in their choice of flavors.
“Wings are one of the hottest trends nationwide, and Sterling is the perfect place for a Wingstop,” says Frank. “We expect to become the ‘go-to’ place for flavor lovers looking for the best in wings in town.”
This is the second Wingstop in to open in Virginia. Wingstop has four locations in the D.C.-metro area and plans to open 15 new restaurants over the coming years.
The Wingstop menu features classic and boneless wings, made fresh to order in a variety of flavors including Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Spicy BBQ, and Original Hot. Sides are made daily and include Wingstop hand-cut seasoned fries, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and house-made ranch and bleu cheese dips.
Wingstop of Sterling is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
