Priscilla Cry, general manager of the
Rally’s Hamburgers restaurant located in Jackson,
Mississippi, has been presented with the seventh of 16 cars and trucks
that are to be awarded through Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc.’s
‘You Gotta Drive to be a Winner!’ contest, part of the company’s 2001
Manager Incentive Program.
The incentive program promotes food quality, customer service and sales
performance among the more than 850 Checkers® and Rally’s® brand
restaurants nationwide. Both franchised and company-owned restaurant
managers compete for the monthly prize of a new automobile.
“At Checkers/Rally’s, we understand that our managers are instrumental
in operating restaurants where service, quality, and performance are
world class,” said Richard S. Turer, Vice President of Marketing. “Our
2001 Manager Incentive Program allows us to recognize our top performing
managers and publicly acknowledge that their hard work is directly
contributing to our overall success.”
Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc.recently reported its record fifth consecutive
profitable quarter, and Turer said the dedication of its restaurant
managers throughout the country has been essential to that achievement.
“Checkers/Rally’s is experiencing rapid growth in our customer base and
we are winning in our segment because of our commitment to offering
customers delicious, high-quality meals in a fast, customer-focused
manner. Our general managers are responsible for seeing that commitment
through to fruition in every one of our stores, and Priscilla Cry’s
enthusiasm and dedication have made her an exceptionally successful
manager. I am honored to present her with the seventh of 16 cars we will
be awarding through our Manager Incentive Program,” added Mr. Turer.
‘You Gotta Drive to be a Winner!’ is a year-long incentive program that
recognizes the managers of restaurants that make the most dramatic
improvement in sales performance during each sales period. A 2001 Ford
Focus is awarded each sales period to a manager from the 50 top
restaurants. At year’s end, a random drawing of all qualifiers that
have not yet won will award an additional four new Ford Escapes.
Priscilla Cry credited her crew for the success that their Jackson
restaurant has achieved. “I am delighted to have been selected for this
fantastic award. Every day our entire team works hard to deliver
high-quality food in a fast, customer-friendly environment, and their
efforts have made our store one of the top performers in the
Checkers/Rally’s organization,” said Ms. Cry.
