Being mindful of how we live and eat has become a priority in today’s world. This Thanksgiving, many Americans will actually make plant-based food the highlight of their holiday feasts. This is part of a larger trend toward Americans yearning for more plant-based foods.
This year, Veggie Grill, the largest plant-based restaurant group in the U.S., is making it simple for people to serve a delicious meat free meal with their full “Thanksgiving Pot Pie Feast” (pre-orders begin October 21).
The “Thanksgiving Pot Pie Feast” with a flexible a la carte selection of Thanksgiving sides will be available to order online and for pick-up the two days before Thanksgiving. The menu offering (serves 4) consists of:
Individual ‘turkey’ and mushroom pot pies
Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes & Gravy
Glazed Rainbow Carrots
Baby Spinach Salad with Cranberries, Candied Pecans, Balsamic Onions, and Feta Cheese
Mini sharable pumpkin pies
This menu represents how serving tasty and familiar alternatives can be just as memorable as the traditional meal and have a big impact on our health and the planet.
