Lime Fresh Mexican Grill continued to grow its corporate team by bringing former Starbucks director of new store development Angela Kenyon on board as Lime’s new vice president of development to help the Lime concept expand.
Kenyon has more than 15 years of corporate restaurant experience with concepts such as Starbucks Coffee, Dunkin’ Brands Inc., and Burger King.
Kenyon will be responsible for developing Lime’s franchising strategy and securing new site selections for Lime’s growth initiatives nationally and internationally.
“We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to utilize her vast knowledge and experience to help the Lime concept reach its ultimate expansion goal of going national and eventually, international,” says John Kunkel, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill’s founder and CEO.
Kenyon is responsible for growing the five-unit Lime concept by controlling the direction of its early growth stages to avoid the operational mistakes that other concepts can fall into in the beginning. Kenyon’s first step is to fully develop the Lime concept in its home region of South Florida.
“I want to create a strong base for the Lime brand before expanding elsewhere so that I can ensure that all future Lime locations that open will maintain as much consistency and quality as the South Florida locations do,” Kenyon says.
