Many people associate Tijuana Flats with amazing Tex-Mex fare and an array of hot sauces that appeal to any taste bud, but the fast-casual chain is also known for its generosity to the communities where it does business. At the heart of Tijuana Flats’ Just in Queso Foundation is the spirit of giving back. The Foundation has distributed more than $3.5 million and has provided countless community service hours since it was founded in 2007. From September 10 – September 30, restaurant-goers are invited to ‘Chip in the Fight Against Cancer’ at all Tijuana Flats locations. The initiative will benefit Florida Hospital for Children and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

“There probably isn’t a single one of us who doesn’t know someone who has been impacted by cancer,” says Randy Steil, executive director, Tijuana Flats Just in Queso Foundation. “It is our mission to aid people in our local communities in their time of need, and by partnering with these two organizations, we know we can help to make a positive impact in the lives of those who are battling cancer.”

Guests can contribute in two different ways to Just in Queso Foundation’s ‘Chip in the Fight Against Cancer’ campaign, from September 10 – 30. One, Purchase Jason’s Mom’s Sauce and Tijuana Flats will donate the proceeds, or two, guests can donate $2.00 or more in-store to receive $5.00 in Flats Cash, which can be redeemed at all Tijuana Flats locations during their next visit.
