Tin Drum Asiacafé, the Atlanta-based fast-casual franchise, was named a Best Company to Work For by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in the small business category (10 to 100 employees). Based on a questionnaire completed by employees, Tin Drum was praised for creating a fun and productive work environment, its teamwork, and for how the employees feel valued and supported.
“We are thrilled to be one of the best places to work,” says Steven Chan, founder and CEO of Tin Drum Asiacafé. “Almost 700 companies participated in the survey in the Atlanta area; so this recognition of our team is excellent.”
Tin Drum recently added seven new positions to its leadership and corporate support team to shore up its substantial franchise and corporate growth. Two industry veterans, both from Arby’s Restaurant Group, joined the leadership team in new roles—Ray Biondi as chief operating officer and Joe Ippolito as vice president of operations.
With 13 restaurants in Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia, the Pan Asian concept Tin Drum recently announced multi-unit openings across central Florida and in Nashville, Tennessee, and launched aggressive strategic development initiatives to be supported by the growing team.
“We have hired industry leaders with exceptional experience at developing systems, people, and culture to aggressively grow the Tin Drum brand,” Chan says. “We are providing our franchisees with the resources for their success with a team that is engaged and ready to serve.”
To meet the needs of its fast-growing team, Tin Drum has moved its corporate headquarters to Roswell, Georgia.
