NexCen Brands, Inc., today announced that it has commenced production of dry pretzel mix in addition to the Company’s existing cookie dough production at its manufacturing facility in Atlanta. The expanded production capabilities of dry pretzel mix, which is a proprietary recipe used to create fresh pretzel dough on site at franchise locations, creates an opportunity for more efficient international distribution.
The launch of new production capabilities follows the recent expansion of the Company’s manufacturing facility. The new production process will be enhanced through more automated systems and will ensure product consistency and purchasing efficiencies for the Pretzelmaker franchised brand.
“We are pleased to have commenced the production of Pretzelmaker’s dry mix at our expanded manufacturing facility,” says Kenneth J. Hall, CEO of NexCen Brands, Inc. “Added to the earlier launch of our on-site Innovation Lab, we are now able to offer additional support for our franchisees and to increase revenue generated from the facility.”
“We are excited to have enhanced our ability to supply our franchisees with innovative and consistent products of the highest quality,” says Chris Dull, president of NexCen Franchise Management, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of NexCen Brands. “We believe that the more robust manufacturing facility will be a tremendous asset for NexCen Brands and our franchisees.”
